Description
The Anthéor viaduct is a monumental railway bridge with nine stone arches, approximately 123 meters long and about 25 to 30 meters high. It was built between 1860 and 1862, after the County of Nice was annexed to France, as part of the railway line connecting Toulon and Nice. The project was designed by engineer Bardal, who is also known for the viaducts in Bandol and La Napoule.
