Is the store affiliated with the author?
The Robert Tys store was created as a personal project by Robert Tys, with the aim of sharing and connecting with people through his drawings.
Are payments safe?
Using electronic payments when shopping online is as safe as using online banking. Payment institutions intermediating in payment for transactions are often supervised by the same institutions that also supervise banks.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are normally produced and shipped within 1-2 business days. Delivery to the customer usually takes another 3-6 working days. In case of unusual high demand (during holidays, such as Black Friday, Christmas and New Year’s Day), delays with the shipping company, for deliveries to rural areas where mail is not delivered daily , delivery time may be slightly longer.. Since Robert Tys personally signs and numbers the boards, shipping may be delayed in case of travel, in which case we will inform you via email.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. In the case of Europe, depending on the destination country, we charge a shipping surcharge that appears at the checkout while shopping, where the amount is visible before making the payment. Shipping outside Europe requires e-mail contact.
What can I do if the received item is in poor condition?
If the film arrives in poor condition, please email us a photo of the damage, and we will resend it. The faulty film should be returned to the same carrier who delivered the new one.
How are illustrations shipped?
In a Tube, as from our experience, this is the safest way to ship. Whenever possible, we send originals flat.
How is the graphic printing process done?
All prints are made using high-quality pigment inks on William Turner Fine Art paper, 100% cotton, white color. The prints are produced in the Puget sur Argens studio.
The Robert Tys company oversees the entire illustration production process.
Are the illustrations unique works?
The illustrations come in series of the same work. We have open series works (unspecified number of copies) and limited series works, in which case their numbering is serialized on each print.Therefore, each copy is a unique work. The signatures and numbers of Robert Tys, each handwritten with a pencil.
